Use Great Content To Promote Your Business

On January 14, 2012, in Uncategorized, by admin

Lately google made some changes to their rank algorithm,   in the hope of furnishing it’s search users better results, google engineers published blog post which indicated there were 11.8% organic search results will be affected, say it another way, there are about 12% of google search results are considered low quality by google itself. The update was initiated more than a year ago, no wonder I saw a few of my keywords’ ranks dropped like a rock, but almost all the ranks promoted by articles and blog posts were not affected, some of the keywords even ranked better than before, it’s almost a sure thing that plain link building loses all it’s attraction, at least in the eye of google.

What is old way of link building any way? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this,  they will get links from any websites which accept adding links, the only updates on those websites are the new links, and most of them are useless, the name link spamming are just for these sites. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers,  any links on them will be affected too.

Maybe a few examples will make it clear. It was quite some time ago, I started promote the keyword, Sash Chains, of course with old way of link building, almost all the sites I got link from had too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. This strategy worked in the beginning, eventually the keyword could be found on first page, this was the case until google made the change. Here is another keyword, chain puller , we promoted this keyword with articles and blog posts, with very few plain links, you can imagine how this keyword ranks. So contextual link wins this time, what about future? Actually this is all about content, so if you create great content, not only people will love to read your stuff, so do the search engines. It’s never too late to build good blogs for business purpose, for instance let’s examine this one, sherri hill dresses , I build it as a hobby and kept adding good or mediocre content, and to my surprise, I have high ranks for some of  competitive keywords. As we can see, creating quality content and article marketing is what we have to do to get great result. If you can build a group of your own blogs, something like Ratchet Chain Binder, then you will have a powerful weapon in your SEO arsenal.

At the end of day all you have to do is to create attractive content, publish and share with people, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Persistence and patience are the keys to success, you shouldn’t expect things to improve overnight, i.e., selling online or improve your search rankings, keep writing, publishing, sharing and creating, you will see the day of success. When publisinh articles, I prefer ezine, new article will be indexed within an hour if not minutes, and some popular blogs will get your post indexed in minutes, there venues are ideal for promoting your site, I believe you should see for yourself, for instance, Binder Chain , nice writing, good content, published on popular site, all these points make it perfect for SEO.

Last but not least, the social media is the must have channel for your marketing effort. One thing you can do for your blogs is to install twitter tools, sign up for a twitter account and create a new application, set up API credentials in your twitter tools option, then make sure every new post will post a new tweet, it’s real easy and useful, no one should miss this tool out.

Heavy truck accidents have been associated with costly and fatal truck accidents, which is why the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) have developed new technologies to decrease these accidents. The technologies were showcased at the Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress and Exhibition.

Delphi, which was one the SAE’s 2008 exhibitors, revealed several new technologies to decrease truck accidents.

Truck Safety Technologies on the Horizon

There are an array of technologies on the horizon being developed by commercial truck manufacturers as well as technology producers working to better equip commercial truck drivers with the safety devices needed to better protect drivers, passengers and other vehicles on the road. Among the technologies being developed are the following, according to Delphi:

* The vehicle integrated safety system that offers lane departure warnings for forward, side and lane departures using radar and vision technologies.

* The headway alert system offers feedback to drivers on safe and unsafe distances for audio and visual alerts.

* A lane departure warning system that uses a camera to alert drivers when they have drifted out of their intended lane and the system uses algorithms to stop alerts when turn signals have been used.

* A drowsy driver alert system attempts to reduce vehicle accidents caused by sleepy drivers by using an imaging sensor and infrared illuminators to determine the number of eye closure rates that occur for an individual driver. The system uses a variety of alert tones to ensure a driver stays awake until they pull off of the road.

In addition to new-aged technology being developed to ease commercial truck driver?s worries of becoming involved in an accident, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is in its third year of its driver information sharing project known as the Enhanced CVISN. According to the FMCSA Technology Division, this system was created to “enhance the safety, security and productivity of commercial vehicle operations and to improve access to and quality of information about commercial drivers, carriers, vehicles, chassis, cargo, inspections, crashes, compliance reviews and citations for authorized and public and private sector users.”.

The project is also responsible for gathering and maintaining statistics on commercial truck carriers involved in accidents, receiving tickets as well as roadside assistance.

Legal Help For Commercial Truck Accident Victims

Commercial truck accidents are among the most dangerous vehicular accidents that can occur in the United States. Most commonly truck accidents involve a severe injury or bodily harm to those involved.

Those who have been involved in a heavy truck accident should consult an experienced legal attorney who can provide insightful details into developing a truck accident lawsuit.

1. That’s one for the record book. You’re the first person to ever eat the custard pudding here and keep it down.

2. Can we just see that pill we gave you? In the event you already swallowed it, we’ll just get on the phone to the drug maker and see what problems that can cause.

3. I’m afraid the doctor you should be seeing is out of town. However, we’ve hooked up a conference call with an out source service we use in India.

4. We’ve got your blood test results back. The doctor, however, wants to explain them to you himself after he’s had a few drinks.

5. Most people are nervous about being in room thirteen.

6. We’ve been noticing quite a number of your moles and we’ve scheduled an examination tomorrow with one of our specialists. Don’t worry though. The removal process is really quite painless, unless you have as many moles as you do.

7. While you’re here, would you like to see someone about all that chest hair. Some of the nurses are really quite put off by it.

8. If you have any problem with pain in the night, the call button on your bed I’m afraid doesn’t work too well. Actually, I don’t believe it works at all.

9. Would you mind if we showed that to the new nurse. She’s never seen that before and to be honest, neither have I.

10. This medication has some serious side effects. Itching, bloating, swelling, you know, the usual. We want you to take two of these every four hours.

Here are ten actual tips of advice from a truck accident lawyer to follow if you have been in an accident.

Obviously, if you have had an accident, and you are reading all of this advice, it may have been a few hours since the accident. However, if you ever have another accident, or if it’s only been a few hours since you were hurt, here’s what you should do from the start.

First, take a look around and determine if you or anyone, are hurt. If so, taking steps like trying to prevent further injury or loss of blood are the most important thing you can do. Even if some other driver caused you to be injured, it’s just good manners to help the other driver if they are hurt. They may even be so thankful that they admit their fault to you. The worst thing you can do is get angry or start a fight.

Second, make sure everyone is safe from being injured further. If you are in the middle of traffic, and you are dizzy, sit down away from traffic. If your vehicle is a traffic hazard and you have accident warning devices like flares or triangles, put them out on the road to warn other drivers and get away from the car. Let the police an other emergency personnel investigate the scene with the vehicles in place and move them more safely at a later point.

Third, call the police. Accident reports are extremely helpful if the police will do such a report. Let the police know you are injured immediately. Answer the police questions honestly. But if you are dazed or confused, let them know you need medical treatment and answer only what you feel sure about. Remember, your statements can and will be used against you if you admit fault, and it will be too late and too fishy to later say you didn’t know what you were saying at the scene. Police know that your best recollection is immediately after an accident.

Fourth, get the other driver’s information including their names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, make and model of their vehicles, license plate numbers, and their insurance company name and policy number. If there are witnesses, get their names, addresses and telephone numbers as well. If the other driver makes any admissions of fault, write those down as well.

Fifth, if you have a camera on your cell phone or in the car and you aren’t too injured, take some photos of the vehicles and the scene. If you can’t do it right away, do it after you are released from the hospital.

Sixth, if you are hurt, obtain medical treatment. Don’t decline the ambulance or hospital examination to save your insurance company money or to be stoic. Take your valuables out of your car if you can and get checked out at the hospital. If you are not hurt, don’t get treatment you don’t need. However, remember, after an accident, you may feel a rush of adrenaline that causes you to only start feeling symptoms of pain a few hours later. If you have a health plan that requires you to obtain permission first, call them and find out where you are allowed to seek treatment.

Seventh, call a good truck accident attorney as soon as you have had your initial treatment, so the lawyer can gather other important evidence and prevent the insurance company from taking advantage of you and obtaining such things as recorded statements that you feel fine, when many of your symptoms have yet to manifest themselves. A good truck accident lawyer can save you from making a great deal of mistakes and can shoulder much of the hassle of knowing what to do about car repairs, car rentals, medical treatment, witness statements and the like. If you think you will save money by not having an attorney, think again. A good truck accident lawyer can almost always obtain much higher settlements, obtain reductions of medical bills and insurance liens and prevent you from making costly mistakes. Also, most truck accident attorneys advance costs of obtaining police reports, medical records and the like and are paid and reimbursed for these costs only out of any settlement.

Eight, you will need to report the accident to your insurance company, but since they will want to take a recorded statement from you, just like any other driver’s insurance company, it’s good advice to retain an attorney first. And if the other driver did not have insurance, remember that it is your own insurance company that will be your adversary. You will also need to report the accident to the Department of Motor Vehicles and your lawyer can give you the form for this.

Ninth, do not agree to settle your claim privately with the person at fault for the accident. This almost never works out to your advantage. Don’t agree not to call the police. Police reports that determine the fault for an accident are golden. Your agreement to not involve the police only affords an opportunity for the other driver to change his story and blame you when the police will no longer investigate the accident.

Tenth, don’t pay a traffic ticket without a fight if you weren’t at fault or agree to accept a small payment for your vehicle repairs without knowing that the amount will in fact cover the cost of all the repairs.

As the Swedish company Volvo AG celebrates its 80h year in the auto industry, they are continuing their quest to increase their presence in different markets all over the world. Recently, the company announced that they will be building a plant in Russia that will produce Volvo trucks to be sold at the said country.

The company has allocated an investment of SEK 935 million for the said assembly plant. The new facility is planned so that it would meet the increasing demand for trucks in Russia and neighboring countries which were previously a part of the Soviet Union. The announcement also reported that the planned assembly plant will have an annual production capacity of 10,000 Volvo trucks and an additional 5,000 Renault trucks.

The site chosen for the new Russian plant is in the city of Kaluga which is found about 200 kilometers outside the country’s capital. Talks between the company and the authorities in the Russian city are still ongoing. It is expected that the two parties will reach an agreement very soon and that by the year 2009, the assembly plant will be completed.

The new plant to be put up is a sign that the Russian market for trucks is growing. For the past two years, Truck Sales in the country have experienced a boom, posting almost a hundred percent improvement over the past couple of years. Volvo Trucks’ sale in the country is also experiencing the same success. In fact, the company’s success in the country is the direct cause why they have planned an assembly plant in Russia. Renault Trucks have also enjoyed much success in the country for the past years.

Aside from new trucks, the used truck market in Russia is also growing. Last year, approximately 500 used Volvo trucks were imported in Russia. But a strong economy is now allowing Russians to look for more new trucks and that is where the new assembly plant comes in. Not only in Russia is the demand for new trucks soaring, but the sale and demand for such a vehicle is spreading even in all of Western Europe. The truth is, the market for trucks continues to grow.

Currently, Volvo operates an assembly plant in Russia located in Zelenograd. The said facility has a meager production capacity of 500 trucks every year. Currently, the said plant is working on its maximum capacity producing Volvo trucks complete with Volvo cargo liners. But the demand is increasing that the Zelenograd facility will not be able to cope with it.

Volvo’s operation in the country started in 1937 when it became the first Western truck producer to deliver vehicles at the then Soviet Union. From that time on, Volvo’s trucks have been continually increasing on Russia’s roads. Today, it is estimated that there are about 31,000 Volvo trucks in Russia giving Volvo the biggest share in the Russian truck market.

The model lifespan of new vehicles is likened to that of the presidential term of office since they usually get voted in every four years however pickups are different being extremely popular in the United States usually stayed for two terms.

Moreover since producing full-size pickups are also immensely profitable, automakers tend to spend more on further improving the quality of their truck parts. Plus they make sure that they employed only the best and brightest product engineers and planners to help them create the next blockbuster pickup that can become the next contender for the next Truck of the Year award. And for this year Motor Trend has chosen two pickup trucks from the stable of the world’s largest automaker—the new Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra.

In choosing the Truck of the Year one of the criteria is significance in which the Silverado scored high. The sales of the two brands tally well, each achieving over a million units year in and out courtesy of the numerous combinations and permutations of cabs, drivetrains, beds, and suspensions offered. The Silverado has also recorded high in terms of sales on both Chevrolet truck accessories and Chevrolet truck parts. Its Chevrolet truck part components are made from high-grade materials—only the best from GM.

Unfortunately, market significance doesn’t have that much effect on the Truck of the Year voter base. Each of the truck has to prove its worth and this means passing several tests that are to be conducted by the judges on Motor Trend.

The fresh styling of both trucks have made quite an impression and have successfully differentiates the two trucks from each other. However since it’s a competition there would always be some features that would make one truck to outshine the other. The Silverado’s chrome-bisected grille and brawnier square-shouldered quarter panels enhanced the truck’s looks. Its interior design is made even more impressive with Chevy’s fake wood earning higher marks than the Cadillac’s timber.

On the other hand, the entry-level dash fitted to Sierra makes it classy. The seats both the front and back provides great support while the interior’s hush is so quite that no squeak or rattle can be heard. The new cargo bed earned high marks for utility especially since its equipped with a cargo-management system and spring loaded EZ-Lift tailgate. The judges also appreciated the low sides of the bed which makes it easy to reach unlike the cargo boxes found on the Avalanche/Escalade EXT and the current Ford F-150.

The Silverado’s 5.3 liter V8 featured fuel-saving displacement on demand and a clever dash readout that indicates if it’s operating in V4 mode. This boost fuel economy to an EPA rated 16 mpg city/20 mpg for highway. Only the Dodge Ram Hemi is known to offer a similar system however its EPA numbers trail by 1 mpg each.

Some voters also expressed doubts about the overall smoothness of the engine and quality of the four-speed automatic’s shift but judges at Motor Trend has found the drivetrain of the 2.5 ton four-wheel-drive quite reliable in sprinting to 60 mph in a respectable 8.2 seconds which is 0.3 second faster than a rear-drive 5.4 liter Ford F-150 and 0.4 second quicker than the Dodge Ram Hemi 4×4. And that’s not all once loaded with 1050 pound load its sprinting time is only stretched by 1.2 seconds as compared to Ford and Dodge Ram Hemi which took additional 1.3 seconds.

And in a boat towing test conducted the Sierra and the Silverado has showed remarkable toting and towing prowess. The figures obtained by the two GM trucks are just part of the whole story. The Judges were very much impressed with the composure of the Silverado when loaded. The truck didn’t ride down on its bump stops and although its front is a little light the truck didn’t lose control.

A week long testing has satisfied the Motor Trend judges and the result shows that the new GM full-size pickups have earned excellent marks in terms of superiority front and by limiting the price increase to about $300 on most models, the Chevy and GMC faired well when it comes to Value Category. But since only one truck should be voted as winner all the judges have agreed to award the Motor Trend’s Truck of the Year for 2007 to the Chevrolet Silverado.

continental 48 states of America by motorcycle for the last 13 months. This is what he calls Woodrow Landfair has traveled the continental 48 states of America by motorcycle for the last 13 months. This is what he calls Urban Camping (Truck Stop Sleeping).

For more information about Woodrow visit: http://www.WoodrowLandfair.com

Woodrow Landfair had never ridden a motorcycle. He had never written a book. He had no experience in public speaking.

After earning a degree in Creative Writing in the spring of 2006, Landfair pawned all he had and dedicated himself to traveling the 48 states while writing his first novel.

To lighten expenses, Landfair sold his car, purchasing a 1995 Suzuki Intruder motorcycle to undertake the odyssey.

To promote himself he performs his short-stories at venues nationwide.

To support himself –and to gather material–Landfair does manual labor and odd jobs. He’s worked as a room service bell hop, a door-to-door salesman, a babysitter, a bartender, a waiter, and a food-runner. He’s built a fence in Florida, been a bouncer in New York City, changed oil in Virginia, and lifeguarded in Washington, D.C.

Landfair has lived in homeless shelters in New York City. He has stayed as a volunteer in the Katrina ravaged Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans. He’s slept and dined in the mansions of millionaires, in trailer parks, in Truck Stops, and in roadside fields.

His journey through the 48 states is part of a curriculum in self-education. Landfair is learning as a writer, as an artist, as an American, and as a human.

Born in Richmond, Virginia, Stanley Woodrow Landfair, nicknamed Pack, grew up traveling between his father in San Francisco, California and his mother in Springfield, Virginia.

He attended the University of Texas where he spent his first two years as a Midshipman on a US Navy ROTC Scholarship. From 2003-2005 he was a member of the Longhorn baseball team. He was twice named their Teammate of the Year (2004, 2005) and won an NCAA National Championship (2005). He graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing.

Landfair’s intention was to pursue a career as a U.S. Navy SEAL before setting out to become a writer. When a back injury ended his former aspiration, Landfair began work on the latter.

As for his plans after touring the 48, Landfair quotes Louis L’Amour: “My intention was to be a writer. I would make no effort to acquire a trade.”

Here is the ‘uncut’ version of the oil change video that I did some time ago, the one thing I wish I had done differently in this video is that I would have shown putting a little bit of oil into the filter before installation as this would help with lubrication during start up.
